Broadway and West End composer Andrew Lloyd Webber revealed Saturday that his 43-year-old son Nicholas is “critically ill” with abdomen most cancers.
The “Phantom of the Opera” composer says his son, Nicholas, has been affected by the sickness for the final 18 months, in response to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I am absolutely devastated to say that my eldest son Nick is critically ill,” the 74-year-old stated in an announcement. “As my friends and family know, he has been fighting gastric cancer for the last 18 months and Nick is now hospitalized.”
Nicholas Lloyd Webber is a Grammy-nominated composer who is understood for his work on the British present “Love, Lies and Records” and the movie “The Last Stop.”
Alongside his father, the eldest youngster served as producer on the unique solid album of “Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella” in 2021 which earned him the nomination.
“We are all praying that Nick will turn the corner,” his father’s assertion continued. “He is bravely fighting with his indomitable humor, but at the moment my place is with him and the family.”

Lloyd Webber additionally revealed that he was serving to write the music for the coronation of King Charles which is scheduled to happen on May 6.
“I have scored it for the Westminster Abbey choir and organ, the ceremonial brass and orchestra. I hope my anthem reflects this joyful occasion,” stated Lloyd Webber.
Webber’s “Bad Cinderella” is a contemporary retelling of the basic fairytale that’s informed by the lens of unrealistic magnificence requirements and is slated to open at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre on Wednesday.
